NOTE: Classes are conducted depending on student registrations. Low enrollment may result in a class cancellation. It is important to contact the appropriate phone number in due time to state your intention of attending. Some store locations will often require pre-payment to reserve your space. Since this is often impractical, simply ask to speak with the manager and explain that you will pay upon arrival at the class. Also, please ask them to include your name on the list of attendees, thus allowing verification of student numbers.

Note: Calendars were last updated 12/24/11 Classes that are listed as PRIVATE SESSION GROUPS are not "one-on-one" classes. My hectic schedule makes that unfeasible. Rather, these are "group" sessions which may involve businesses/co-workers, civic organizations, rec centers, church groups, even family reunions. If you wish to set up a class for YOUR "private" group, please contact me for details.
If You Cannot Attend a Given Class..............
Most of my classes are now filling to capacity and therefore "waiting lists" are being instituted in the event of any cancellations. If you are registered for a given class, but find that you will not be able to attend, please contact the appropriate location as soon as possible, so that another interested individual may fill that space.

My next class at the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts ( Little Falls, NY ) will be on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 4th, 10am - 2pm. I'm shown here with Brenda Crossett, Director of the MVCA and the painting we'll be doing in this class, "LAKESIDE BIRCHES". Oil Painting Class with WILSON BICKFORD
FRIDAY, JUNE 22nd 9am - 1pm
Project Title: "DAY'S END"
This class will show you how to create a dramatic sunset in Oils. Professional artist Wilson Bickford will instruct you in the wet-on-wet approach and lead you to a finished masterpiece. Important aspects of painting; contrast, value and blending techniques will all be addressed. No prior experience is required and the class fee includes ALL materials!

Project Title: "MOONLIT CAMP"
Artist Wilson Bickford will instruct this very popular class and show you how achieve "mood" in your paintings. This project is one of Wilson's most requested subjects, as it seems everyone can relate to it. Perhaps it's the calmness of the scene? Many painting principles will be discussed and you will be able to translate this knowledge to your own artwork in the future. All supplies are included in the class fee. No experience is needed and beginners are welcome!
